I can relate to this in sooo many ways. I’ll think about how much money I’ve dumped into my car couple years and then compare that to how much different it is from stock and realize a good 85% of the money went into fixing stuff

I had the same idea in my head on my drive home to work today. My Miata needs a new precat and downpipe (and perhaps a new catback setup), a new top, paint fixes, a new water pump, maybe a new clutch, and random bits and bobs. I already have the downpipe and water pump, just not enough time and money to fix everything that needs fixing.

I’ve made a few, I stopped making them. Instead I have a short list.

1 rebuilt turbo 2 replace clutch 3 replace every price of rubber in the suspension
